ATTICA — A 69-year-old Albion woman is under indictment in Wyoming County on charges that she smuggled cocaine and marijuana to her grandson while he was serving a prison term in Attica Correctional Facility this summer.
Elsie Biaselli and her grandson, Joshua D. Biaselli, 28, were both indicted Oct. 26 and charged with first-degree promoting dangerous prison contraband, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, two counts of second-degree promoting prison contraband and one count of fifth-degree conspiracy.
The most serious charge, first-degree promoting, is a D felony punishable by up to seven years in prison.That’s more than the term Joshua Biaselli is currently serving at Upstate Correctional Facility in Malone.
