TAMAULIPAS, Mexico — A husband got his wife locked up after she refused to do the laundry.
Edgar Ivan Perez Alvarado, 26, claimed his wife, Dylce Requena Garcia, 21, wouldn’t iron his clothes because she believed he was going to meet a mistress, FOX News reports.
Alvarado contacted police, also stating that his wife avoided chores and indulged in too much television.
Garcia was unable to pay a disturbance fine of 400 pesos ($25). When Alvarado refused to pay the fine, Garcia was ordered to serve a 12-hour sentence.
In her own defense, Garcia said her husband is never home and asserted that he has another woman.
