LAKE CITY, Fla. — A man who was released from state prison at the end of February, is wanted for a Wednesday bank robbery in Lake City.
The Lake City Police Department said the Bank of America at 355 Bentley Place was held up by a lone man shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Based on statements from witnesses and footage from surveillance cameras, police said the man walked up to a teller, presented a note demanding money and then left with an undisclosed about of cash.
The white male suspect appeared to be in his 40s, was about five-foot-seven with salt and pepper hair and he may have been wearing a denim jacket, according to investigators.
