MILLVILLE, Pa. — John Lloyd Dildine, a Pennsylvania corrections officer, was convicted of stalking his soon-to-be ex-wife and sentenced to a year in jail with a fine of $332.
Under a plea agreement, according to Stacey Page Online, a Class D felony charge of stalking was dropped. Dildine turned himself into the authorities in August when he was charged with stalking and violating an order of protection against his estranged wife.
According to relatives of the woman, Dildine violated the restraining order twice: once by texting and sending a photo of himself to her, and again when he entered the home of his brother-in-law while the man’s wife was home alone and in the shower.
Dildine has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of his case.
