PAW PAW, Mich. — Dash cam video has been released capturing the arrest of a woman who drove drunk into the parking lot of a county jail.
Fox 17 reports April Loomis was arrested October 19 after pulling into the parking lot in her vehicle.
As she argued with a passenger, deputies approached the vehicle and questioned her. She informed them she thought she was parking in front of another bar.
Officers administered a breathalyzer test and found Loomis was more than twice the legal limit. She was then escorted 50 feet to the entrance of the Van Buren County Jail.
The 39-year-old was charged October 29 with operating a vehicle while intoxicated – her second offense, according to WOOD-TV.
