WARSAW, Va. — In the past month, Virginia crooner Chris Brown has made his way from a Malibu, California rehab center to a Los Angeles County jail, and now to Northern Neck Regional Jail in Virginia.

According to TMZ, Brown made his way to the Virginia jail this week after a five-day long trip from California.

TMZ also reports that the singer, who spent a portion of his time at the Los Angeles County jail in solitary confinement, was placed in limited general population with no restrictions at the Virginia facility.

Due to the lack of restrictions in limited general population, Brown can use the facility’s telephones, television, and library, and can also take daily showers and meals in the cafeteria.

He will remain at Northern Neck Regional Jail until he appears in court on April 23 in Washington, D.C. Brown’s upcoming court appearance stems from an assault case he was struck with while in D.C. late last year.
