Contraband: Hollowed-out shaving can

These contraband photos were sent to us from a Corrections1 member in Tennessee. They were taken from an inmate’s cell.

As you can see, the bottom of this shaving can is removable and the inside of the canister is completely hollowing, giving an inmate plenty of room to hide drugs, a cell phone, or multiple shanks, etc.

The best way to safeguard against allowing an item like this in your facility is to check all containers/packages that aren’t see through to make sure the contents within are what they seem.
