GASTONIA, N.C. — A deputy looked inside a woman’s privates and found methamphetamine at the Gaston County Jail, according to arrest warrants.

Mary Nicole Miskell, 37, of Shelby, was brought to Gaston County Jail on Sunday on charges related to possession with intent to manufacture, sale and deliver methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.

During a search at the jail, a Gaston County Sheriff’s Office deputy found methamphetamine inside Miskell’s vagina, according to arrest warrants.

Miskell was with three others in a reported stolen car when police arrested her. Also arrested was Miranda Elizabeth Dellinger, 36, who allegedly had a concealed gun and a meth pipe down her pants, according to police.

Dellinger was charged with carrying a concealed gun, possession of heroin, simple possession of a schedule IV substance, possession of a controlled substance on a jail premises and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Driving the car was Richard Anthony Chavis, who had allegedly gotten the car from the daughter of the individual who reported it stolen, police say. Adam Hawk George was also a passenger in the vehicle, according to police.

Chavis was charged with driving with a revoked license, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He posted a $7,500 bond two hours after being booked into jail.

George was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule VI substance with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute. He’s under a $20,000 bond.

Miskell was booked into Gaston County Jail under a $50,000 bond with the additional charge of possessing a controlled substance on jail premises. Dellinger faces a $20,000 bond.
