Video: LEO, CO face off in ‘dance battle’ for breast cancer awareness
It was police versus corrections, Georgia versus Florida in a salsa dance battle for the ages – and all for a good cause

MIAMI — In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, two agencies decided to turn up the heat this week – with a salsa dance battle.
A tongue-in-cheek video shared by Miami Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation showed the competition was fierce. MDCR’s Officer Llerena faced off with “Deputy B” of Henry County, Georgia.
“Word on the street was [Deputy B] was looking for the best salsa dancer while he was down here in Miami,” wrote MDCR spokesperson Juan Diasgranados.
It seems Deputy B found a worthy opponent in Llerena, as both officers took turns strutting their stuff in a coordinated dance routine.
“Big thanks to [Deputy B] and the Henry County Sheriff's Office for participating and helping us spread the word about Breast Cancer Awareness,” said Diasgranados.
