The new service will be bolstered by a grant-funded mental health program that will have a new staff member helping inmates with mental health and opioid addiction
The program aims to serve 20 inmates per month with medication-assisted treatment and another 100 inmates with education and counseling
The funds will help the facility purchase specialized equipment and supplies needed to help reduce exposure to the virus
