COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ariel Anthony Castro was too angry at his father to visit him while he was in prison. But now he’s haunted by questions about his suicide.

The younger Castro wants the personal items taken from the prison cell of his father, Ariel Castro, including a diary that he did not know existed until it was mentioned prominently in a suicide consultants’ report released Tuesday by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.

In an interview with The Dispatch, Castro said he is unhappy with information contained in two reports released this week about his father’s suicide that suggested he might have been mistreated or neglected by prison employees.
