ALBANY — Several hundred people rallied at the Capitol on Tuesday.
They are hoping to convince Governor Cuomo to reconsider a proposal to close a number of correctional facilities across the state. Several hundred corrections officers from around the state have gathered at West Capitol Park.
They are trying to prevent the closing of four prisons around the state and five mental health facilities, including Mount McGregor Correctional Facility in Wilton.
