LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Metro Corrections officer shot two people when a driver, a wanted man, attempted to run him over, according to WLKY.
WHAS11 reported that the shooting occurred when the officer attempted to arrest a man. The officer fired off several shots, striking the driver and front seat passenger.

The whole event played out in front of a busy grocery store.
“I see all these police cars all over the place, the lights are on and I look at my phone and it said police involved shooting and I knew I was right here at the spot, so it was very scary,” said Jade Saling, a bystander.
The officer wasn’t injured, and the two shooting victims were hospitalized.
