LOCK HAVEN — According to Warden Jackie Motter, all some local inmates housed at the Clinton County Correctional Facility want for Christmas - aside from an early release — is a job.
Motter used the occasion of Wednesday’s meeting of the county prison board to make a plea to local businesses and industries, on behalf of work-release eligible inmates.
On Wednesday, eight men and three women incarcerated at the facility were actively employed, while 35 other work-eligible prisoners remain idle, she said.
“Nothing is more rehabilitative than meaningful employment,” she said.
