TULSA, Okla. — The Avalon Center in Tulsa will begin housing offenders once more, three months after more than two hundred were removed for safety and security reasons.

According to News on 6, the DOC will move about 25 offenders per week until the center reaches 150 people.

Avalon has agreed to some physical changes to the structure, along with adding cameras throughout the facility.

An on-site representative will also be present to monitor day-today operations; there is no timeframe for how long that person will remain.
