JACKSON, Mich. — A former corrections officer is talking about his time in the DOC during the opening of a new prison museum intended to teach the public what it’s like to constantly be inside a jail.
“You can’t come in here with an attitude, or you’re just not going to make it,” Tim Fowler tells FOX News, speaking of Cell Block Seven within the Jackson State Prison.
Fowler served at the facility for 26 years and worked in Cell Block Seven. He retired nine years ago.
“I can’t even tell you how many things I learned.”
