JACKSON, Miss. — Hinds County deputies and U.S. Marshals captured and arrested a third inmate who escaped from the Hinds County downtown jail facility early Sunday morning in South Jackson.
Sheriff Tyrone Lewis said investigators discovered Tyree Bailey, 17, inside a motel room at the Dollar Save Inn on I-55 Frontage Road and took him into custody without incident.
Lewis said Bailey’s connection to his father proved to be a key piece of the puzzle that led to the arrest.
