TRENTON — The county freeholders were set to approve a four-year contract for the county corrections officers at their meeting last night but the resolution was pulled from the meeting.
According to court administrator Andrew Mair, the attorney representing Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 167 said that the union wanted to make some minor changes to language in the contract.
“They had ratified the agreement so we put it on the agenda,” Mair said. “But they wanted to make these changes so I can no longer proceed.”
