HUNTSVILLE, Texas — Three correctional officers were stabbed by an inmate Monday morning.
KBTX.com reported that the inmate at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Ellis Unit stabbed the three officers during a random pat down at 3:30 a.m. As a result, two officers were hospitalized and another was airlifted to a hospital in Houston. One officer, who suffered minor injuries, was treated and later released.
