U.S. Patent Pending - Can you make the shot when it counts? That’s the question your firearms training should revolve around. Shooting holes in paper has its place, but it does little to prepare you for the stress and physiological challenges you will face during an actual combat situation. Increased heart rate, rapid breathing, shaky hands; All of these are factors you will have to deal with during an actual armed conflict.
Force-on-force training with paint balls or marking cartridges can be a very effective means of simulating combat, but there is an easier way to turn up the stress… competition! The fear of embarrassment can be almost as effective as the fear of pain. Enter Action Target’s new “Dueling Tree”, the perfect way to add an adrenaline rush to your firearms training.
Two officers begin, each with three targets on their side of the tree. At the start command, the officers fire at the targets on their respective sides. When a target is hit, it swings over to the other guy’s side. Trouble is, the other guy is knocking them back over to your side at the same time. The first officer with all the targets resting on his side loses.
Forget the white gloves and 20 paces – this duel is in your face. If you miss, you lose. If you don’t reload fast enough to keep up, you lose. No excuses.
