BLAUER TACTICAL SYSTEM’S annual combatives camp is in Orlando this year, August 10-12.
This year’s theme is will enhance personal & professional safety at two levels: Tactical Fitness & Tactical Skills:
- Principles of ‘combat calisthenics’ & unique core strengthening applications that directly apply to close quarter confrontations.
- This year’s theme will also include stress inoculation drills for defense against strangles & chokes, as well as force-on-force drills for defending against the single & double leg tackle.
In addition to the BLAUER core team and the above theme, we will intro the Crossfit philosophy through some special guests from the Crossfit community.
Right now, barring conflicts, founder Greg Glassman will be on hand, along with CrossFit trainer Greg Amundson (police officer/soldier, CrossFit instructor, gold medalist in the 2003 Toughest Cop Alive competition 2003), Jeff Martone (kettlebell wizard, Trainer NNSA, Tactical Athlete), and Jesse Woody (American Parkour).(Google these elite athletes)
Another special guest and frequent speaker at our camps will be Dr. Robert Smith of Direct Action Medical Network who will present his innovative talk on ‘The Human Weapon System’.
