TAFT, Calif. — An eight-month investigation has ended with the arrest of a prison nurse. Deputies say hundreds of pills were found inside the Taft home of woman who worked at Wasco State Prison.
Deputies say that while they were looking into allegations of elder abuse against a 76-year-old woman, they discovered the pills.
“Hallelujah! Carol, you need to be under bars. Thank you, Lord I am very ecstatic over this,” said Kariann Bridgewater, the daughter of the alleged victim.
Carol Juette is charged with possession and deputies say the drugs she had came from Wasco State Prison.
