MONONGAHELA, Pa. — A Washington County man has been jailed on charges he used a set of mounted deer antlers to attack his disabled father.

Twenty-six-year-old Arthur Benoit III, of Monongahela, faces a preliminary hearing March 10 on charges including assault and terroristic threats. Police charged Benoit earlier this week for the Feb. 17 incident at the home he shared with his father.

Police say Benoit became angry when his dad wouldn’t get out of bed that morning and broke the older man’s wheelchair and cellphone. He also used plaque mounted antlers to threaten him, saying, “I’ll kill you.”
