BIBB CO. Ala. — The Alabama Department of Corrections is seeking new corrections officers and will be offering testing for the positions at the Bibb County Correctional Facility this week.

Tests include a written basic comprehension exam, physical agility test and a 1.5 mile run, according to WSFA. Applicants must have a standard high school diploma or GED and must be at least 19 years old.

Applicants should report to the testing facility with a correctional officer trainee packet and application; both are available here, or by calling 205-926-5252.

More testing dates have been planned throughout the year, at about every other month.
