LANSING, Mich. — It was supposed to be a routine campaign stop, where Gov. Rick Snyder received an endorsement from the Michigan State Medical Society.
But once reporters got their chance to ask questions, the focus quickly shifted to the much-criticized Aramark company, which is contracted to run state prisons.
“We’re working through the Aramark situation,” the Governor said Tuesday. “There’s a significant, $200,000 fine that’s been imposed.”
