EL PASO, Texas — Jailers and sheriff’s deputies have voted to give up 10 paid days off inorder to avoid eliminating 22 sergeants’ positions at the jail.
The measure passed 365-249 and the count was released as the CountyCommissioners Court considered increasing the tax rate today.
