PORTLAND, Ore. — The King County Sheriff’s Office believe that Michael (Chadd) Boysen, the man wanted in connection with the Friday deaths of his grandparents at their Fairwood Home, is presently in a motel room in Lincoln City, Ore.

Oregon SWAT teams are on the scene. Here is coverage from the Portland Oregonian.

The Sherriff’s office is not commenting further on the development.
According to the Sherriff’s Department, Boysen was released from the Department of Corrections on Friday and returned to his grandparents home to celebrate his release with family.

When Boysen’s mother returned to the house Saturday, she found her parents dead and Boysen gone. Police are presuming he is armed, but said the grandparents’ deaths were not gun related. No motive was given for the killings.

Boysen is being sought by the Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the state Department of Corrections. He apparently left his grandparents’ home in their red Chrysler sedan. As of Monday afternoon, Boysen had not been charged with a crime.

“We need to do everything we can to get this man off the street as soon as possible,” said Sheriff John Urquhart at a press conference Monday. “His threats against authority figures make him very dangerous and unpredictable.”
