PERTH, Australia – A prisoner at the maximum-security facility in Canning Vale was accidentally crushed to death by a truck.
ABC News reports that the prisoner died after a reversing truck swung around and pinned him against a wall.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and later died of his injuries.
The truck was allegedly driven by a correctional officer.
Though an investigation is underway, police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
