BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A group of correctional officers from Wasco State Prison have come together to help a former co-worker battling stage four pancreatic cancer.
“It’s a big shock,” said Henoc Zamudio.
Doctors told Zamudio he had cancer almost two months ago.
“I mean I had no clue. Never in a million years I would have thought something like that would happen to me.”
