STOCKTON, Calif. — A jury found that the San Joaquin County jail is in compliance with rules that allow inmates to air their grievances.
According to Record Net, one inmate filed more than two dozen grievances about conditions at the jail, including how pencils were sharpened.
In one instance, the inmate filled out the wrong form; since being incarcerated in 2010, the inmate has filed 31 grievances about phone calls, pencils, food tampering, opened mail and the possibility of someone taking bolts off of doors.
The jury found that the jail followed correct procedures in response.
