SAN DIEGO — An inmate is suing the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, accusing deputies of violating his rights by parading him around the jail naked, breaking his wrist with tight handcuffs and denying him medical treatment for the injury for months.

“They paraded him naked,” Solana Beach attorney Gerry Singleton said, co-counsel on the case. “He’s in full view of everybody, guards of both genders, other inmates.”

Surveillance video from cameras inside the San Diego Jail, and obtained by 10News Monday, shows 44-year-old Abonilico Carroll being walked through several corridors, handcuffed and totally naked.
