Contraband: ‘Magic’ marker

This concealment device submitted by a Corrections1 reader was made from a standard “Marks a Lot” permanent marker.

The top when removed reveals a standard felt tip for writing. However, no writing will be done with this marker. The ink mechanism for the pen has been removed to conceal a fully functional marijuana pipe.

The hollowed-out portion of the pen could also be used to conceal small knives, blades, or handcuff keys.
