LA CROSSE, Wis. — La Crosse County will implement a drug called Narcan in the jail.
Narcan counteracts the effects of heroin and can save lives. The jail hasn't had any overdose deaths but officials said they want to be prepared.
This comes after the jail's surveillance cameras caught an inmate sitting in his cell, injecting heroin into his arm.
