SEATTLE, Wash. — A former King County sheriff’s deputy pleaded guilty on Monday to promoting prostitution, theft and drug dealing. He was sentenced to 366 days in jail.
Darrion Holiwell apologized in court, according to FOX News.
King County Sheriff John Urquhart said Holiwell had “violated his oath, the trust of his fellow deputies, and the trust of the citizens of King County. He does not deserve to be a police officer.”
Holiwell was put on administrative leave back in April when an investigation into his activities started. He was fired on July 15.
The two month investigation uncovered allegations that he acted as a pimp for his estranged wife who worked as a prostitute.
Allegedly 80 percent of the money made through the business went to Holiwell. He was also using steroids and selling steroids to people both inside and outside the Sheriff’s Office.
He also made money selling live and used SWAT team ammo to local gun shops. Sheriff Urquhart says the investigation is far from over.
