Rollison is believed to have recorded the beating of a Tennessee correctional officer inside the Turney Center Industrial Complex last week. Her supporters say that she brought the contraband into the facility not to give to an inmate but solely to record and expose dangerous working conditions.
The TDOC stated that Rollison was arrested on “charges of introduction of contraband, a Class E felony.”
Rollison is on leave and an investigation is currently ongoing.
