HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. — A man who died before being booked into the Henderson County Jail on Friday evening was Tasered, but it is unknown if the incident contributed to his death, Henderson County Sheriff Rick Davis said Sunday.
A Taser is a weapon used for subduing a person by administering an electric shock.
The Hendersonville Police Department arrested 44-year-old Stefan McMinn on Friday, Davis said. McMinn became combative with officers, then appeared to suffer a heart attack, he said.
