TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — Five years after a 2-year-old boy was left brain dead from a drunken wreck, the child’s mother went to a Texas jail to confront the driver who cut her son’s life short.
Loubna Khader lunged at the glass divider in a visitation room at the Tarrant County Jail in Fort Worth last week, when Stewart Richardson was brought inside.
The tearful mother had allowed a news crew to film the confrontation, which began with Khader showing the jailed man a picture of her son, Abdallah, as a smiling 2-year-old boy.
