NEW YORK — A brawl amongst inmates left seven Rikers Island Correctional Facility officers injured.

The Huffington Post reports that the officers ended a fight between 14 inmates with chemical agents, but not before seven officers were injured.

The injuries were described as minor but the officers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
