LITTLEFIELD, Texas — Here’s an offer that’s hard to refuse: the town of Littlefield, Texas is auctioning off its medium-security detention facility and selling the highest bidder above the $5 million opening bid, according to Pat’s Papers.
The five-building complex sleeps 383 inmates and comes with a gym, maintenence shed, armory, and parking lot, per the listing.
It’s also got a perimeter of double fences with an electronic shaker detection system and eight video surveillance cameras
