ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. — The Orange County Sheriff’s office made a big administration announcement at a press conference Thursday. Kenneth Decker has been appointed as the new Corrections Administrator.
There has been an acting administrator since the passing of Dominick Orsino in 2012. The Sheriff’s office advertised for the job extensively since Orsino’s death.
Decker is a lifelong Orange County resident and says he is excited to work with the Department.
