NEW YORK — A DOC inmate transport bus struck a median near the Manhattan bridge during early morning rush hour on Monday.
According to NBC New York, fourteen people were taken to the hospital, but no injuries were reported. Two corrections officers and 12 inmates were taken to area hospitals.
The bus was transporting inmates from Rikers Island to courts in Manhattan.
