FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two corrections officers were injured Friday morning after an inmate allegedly stabbed one and hit another with a padlock inside a sock.

CBS Pittsburgh reported that the incident prompted a lockdown at SCI Greene in Franklin Township. The first officer was stabbed multiple times and another officer that came to help was hit on the head repeatedly.

The inmate is currently being held in restricted housing. The officers, who have since been released from the hospital, are expected to be OK.
