VALPARAISO, Ind. — A man accused of murder, another accused of reckless homicide, a man facing child molestation charges and six other Porter County Jail inmates filed a complaint against the jail Tuesday claiming their constitutional rights have been violated, according to federal court records.

Dustin McCowan, Joseph Ruwaldt and Adam Massey were among the complainants alleging the jail was violating their rights by denying them access to family visitation, phone privileges and time at the law library.

McCowan was charged in the September slaying of Portage teen Amanda Bach.

Ruwaldt was charged with drunken driving, reckless homicide and possession of marijuana after Ronald Garry Bradley was struck and killed by a truck while jogging in July.
