This tip was pulled from the Corrections1 Contraband archive. It serves as a stark reminder that metal detectors and x-ray scanners are by no means fool-proof when it comes to preventing deadly contraband from entering your institution.

These plastic razor blades are deadly sharp and just as lethal as their metal counterparts. A quick online search revealed these blades are legally used for automobile detailing work, but this seemingly innocuous item can be absolutely deadly in an inmate’s hands.
