PHOENIX, Ariz. — A dog that was nearly euthanized after mauling a 4-year-old boy is the subject of a new 24/7 jail reality show.
WFSB reports that Mickey was taken custody of by Sheriff Joe Arpaio in May after a judge ruled that the dog was vicious but would be saved if an appropriate shelter was found for him.
The MickeyCam will go live Wednesday, allowing viewers to watch the pit bull as he roams about his area inside Maricopa County’s no-kill animal jailhouse shelter.
Mickey has been neutered, de-fanged and microchipped since his incarceration.
