PARCHMAN, Miss. — One of the two inmates who escaped from Mississippi’s largest prison is back in custody.
James Sanders, 41, was captured Tuesday, WMC reported. He is currently serving life in prison for murder.
Sanders and Ryan Young, who has not been captured, escaped sometime Sunday night from Parchman Mississippi State Penitentiary. Officials noticed the inmates were missing during a routine count. How they escaped is currently under investigation.
