LAS VEGAS, Nev. — A 25-year-old man who attacked Clark County jail guards with a baseball bat was sentenced Monday to a three-to-10-year prison term.
Michael Law was sentenced by District Judge Carolyn Ellsworth after a brief hearing. He pleaded guilty in January to one felony count of battery with use of a deadly weapon.
Law told detectives he was seeking revenge because police failed to thoroughly investigate when he was robbed, according to a Las Vegas police report.
