HARRIMAN, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations is investigating the shooting of a Morgan County corrections officer by police outside his home Tuesday night, WBIR reported.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at the home of 27-year-old CO Nathan Manis. Manis was armed and shot at police as they confronted him outside of his home.
He was taken to the hospital.
No other officers were injured in the shooting.
Manis has worked at the Morgan County Correctional Complex for five years.
