WASECA, Minn. — Minnesota’s FCI Waseca is getting a beauty salon with all the fixings, all on the government’s tab.
According to Free Beacon, the government is spending over $30,000 for equipment for a beauty salon, including “porcelain shampoo bowls,” eight nail stations, and four massage tables.
The order, put in Thursday, also includes styling chairs, wig dryers, dryer chairs and a reception area.
Despite all this, inmates will not be allowed to dye their hair. The prison’s orientation handbook states that dying or highlighting of hair is subject to disciplinary action.
