STANDISH, Mich. — A Michigan prison closed since 2009 will soon be filled again, only this time with actors.
Crews from a movie titled “Heartlock” plan to spend three weeks at the Standish Prison, starting Tuesday.
It turns out the Michigan Department of Corrections charges $40 to $60 dollars per hour to open buildings, turn on electricity and perform other tasks.
